Mission Statement

Beginner Sign

This is a re-purposing of my blog back from when it was simply Tales from the Tech Side aka Psyne.net. As life does I got busy and lost focus and consequently lost my voice. However, today after listening to Pat Kitano from TransparentRE speak I got to thinking I should really get back into blogging and actively work to find my voice again.

Also as a the Director of IT for the Bay East Association of REALTORS and the de facto advocate for blogging I feel if I am going to talk about blogs so much, I should put my money where my mouth is so to speak.

With that being said my Mission Statement for this blog will be:

To use my blog to provide my insight and take on all things Real Estate and Technology related. I will be there as a resource for my readers and write items that have direct benefits for my audience.

Basically I will commit to updating my blog (at least once a week) and will bring issues, ideas, and insights to the table that are practical and applicable. What I will TRY not to do is use my blog as a platform to support an agendas hidden or otherwise, if you catch me doing so please just email me on it.

Please note that this a personal blog and nothing I say here should ever reflect as the opinion of the Bay East Association of REALTORS or its members. From time to time I may talk about industry news and market specific issues but again the opinions given are completely my own.

In closing I invite you to be an active part of this blog. One of the great things about Blogging is reader involvement is as important as the writing itself. I will do my best to limit the filtering of comments except when they fall in the realm of the obscene or personal attack. Please get involved. Email me or drop comments if you’d like and please share any Real Estate of Technology industry insight or information that you feel is important.
