Last week I posted about using online tools to distribute Powerpoint presentations from your site. Lets say however that you wanted to enhance your video with an accompanying presentation.

Then the tool for the job is Vcasmo. With Vcasmo you can combine video with PowerPoint, PDF, or simply a collection images. The interface is simple consisting of an upload tool and a simple time-line editor which lets you define when the corresponding slide displays next to you video. exactly when images display in your presentation. An interesting feature about Vcasmo is it also allows you to add subtitles to your video.

Once you are satisfied with your presentation looks then you can embed your finished video on your site or in your blog as I have done below.



Some ideas I have for using Vcasmo are:

1. Online classes such as first time home buyers
2. Personal testimonials from clients
3. Client testimonials combined with video home tours
4. Interoffice sharing of trainings, or keynote addresses
5. Recruitment drives - benefits presentation next to worker testimonials
6. Adding subtitles to videos to extend marketing reach

If you don’t like Vcasmo then you could also try out Zenation the reason I did not compare the two is I found Zenation much clunkier to use and the interface was covered with ads which I found distracting from the content. Though in the end both allow you to do much the same thing if not the same way. The primary difference being that Zenation allows you to tie resources together such as a video from youtube and a presentation from slideshare. Wheras Vcasmo allows you to manage bothe centrally the user expierence is largely unchanged though.



Keep in mind that neither Zenation or Vcasmo are video editors you can’t trim your video, make tweaks to your presentation editor, or add narration to your slides. So make sure you have your video complete and edited and your presentation complete before you upload to Vcasmo. How would you use a tool like Vcasmo in your business?
