Pat Kitano over at Transparent RE asked if it would be alright to share my OPML (outline processed markup language) file with the RE.net community. I of course said yes and am honored that he felt there was value in sharing the list with the community. If anyone has downloaded the opml then I would welcome feedback about my selection of feeds even if it is to tell me that you think some are not worthwhile or to let me know if I am missing a feed that you find critically important (even if it is your own).
In the interest of full disclosure I read through this list every day generally in the morning prior to work. Throughout the day I monitor it for trends or stories that may impact my members. On days that are particularly busy I concentrate on the daily must read section and catch up on the rest the next day. To monitor the list and I use the Bloglines Beta feed-reader as I find it easy to manage the information and it marks items as read by scrolling much as the Google reader but for me the dashboard page is very useful.
