Tools to help with Managing E-Dentity

Its been almost a month since I wrote on securing your e-dentity. Looking at the site stats that post is consistently in the top 5 read posts on the site so I figured I would do a follow up and identify some tools that help you manage your e-dentity more effectively. Below are three of my favorites they offer a wide access to tools and best of all they are free.

  • FindMeOn.com - With this service you can merge your profiles across social sites and also verify your identity so that people know which profiles belong to you.
  • SocialURL.com - Juggling facebook, linkedin, myspace and hundred other social networks, this service lets you give out one address that has all your profiles and lets you manage your connections across networks from one central location.
  • MyOpenID.com - Its all about the standards and in the emerging landscape of single signon openid is setting itself apart as being flexible and easily implementable. With MyOpenID.com you can setup a universal username and password to use on openID enabled websites which can make it simple to manage usernames and passwords.

There are literally hundreds of sites aimed at managing your online identity and your reputation. What are some of the sites and services you use and if you use one of the sites above share your profile or feedback about the service.
