As a frequent user of PowerPoint one of the most annoying features to me is automatic capitalization. Given that much of what I write in PowerPoint is not in the form of complete sentences I do not need them to start with a capital letter. If you find this feature annoying as well read on for a step-by-step solution.
- Click the Office Button (the big globe with the MS logo in the upper left corner)
- Click Power Point Options
- Click Proofing
- Click AutoCorrect
- Uncheck the box next to ‘Capitalize the first letter of each sentence’
- Click Ok
